Meet Dr Railya Mousina

GENERAL AND BREAST SURGEON

Dr Railya Mousina is a dually qualified general and breast surgeon. She is a fellow of the Australian College of Surgeons and a Master of Advanced Surgery (Breast Surgery) The University of Sydney.

After completing a Medical Science degree at the University of NSW in 2002, Railya went on to research oncogenic viruses in breast, prostate and endometrial cancers, receiving First Class Honours for her thesis in 2003. She went on to attain a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2008.

In 2018 Railya worked as the Surgical Superintendent at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) in Sydney during which she coordinated the Sydney Central Surgical network of Senior Resident Medical Officers and General Surgical Registrars at RPA.
